GYNECOMASTIA SURGERY

Excess fat or breast tissue on the male chest can be extremely distressing for an otherwise fit individual. Gynecomastia surgery is done to remove excess fat or breast tissue on the chest. This procedure can be performed in addition to liposuction or even fat grafting to achieve a more sculpted look. As with any cosmetic surgery procedure, the recommendations by Dr. Alford are tailored to each individual patient based on their desired results. This procedure will take about 1 to 3 hours depending on how the procedure is performed. Gynecomastia surgery is performed under general anesthesia in our accredited surgical center. Patients will return home the same day as surgery. The ideal candidate for this procedure is healthy, does not vape or smoke, at or near their ideal weight, and desires more masculine contour to the male chest.
